Hello, I'm Davitt Vaughan.

I'm based in Bantry, West Cork, and my wedding photography takes me all over counties Cork and Kerry. My interest in photography stems from my dad, who was a highly acclaimed professional wedding photographer in Ireland's southwest, and has grown from that foundation to become an enduring passion. I first started to photograph weddings professionally in 2004, and quickly discovered I had found my niche. I was doing something I loved, and that showed in my work. My business, and my photography went from strength to strength, and continues to grow and evolve every day.

I believe passionately in what I do, and that shows in my work. Specialising as a professional wedding photographer has allowed me to developed a photographic style that marries the very best of classical and contemporary -- a blend that gives you the best of both worlds. In my father's day you were limited to the amount of photographs you could take through the physical constraints of film and processing. The advent of digital photography has freed photographers from those shackles, and the scope for capturing your special day is literally limitless. Besides the "main" photographs there is plenty of opportunity to capture those special, more casual shots where people don’t even know they are being photographed.
